Biography: Roman Lysiuk is an Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Ukraine. Director of the Council for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (CONEM), Norway. Secretary of the Ukrainian Branch of CONEM (the Council for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine). Developer and author of digital on-line “A textbook of Pharmacognosy”. His main research interests are pharmacognosy, phytochemical analysis, and pharmacology of herbal drugs and food supplements (nephroprotective herbs, Astragalus spp., flavonoids, selenium, HPLC, HP-TLC, AAS/EA).
